Requirements
Before starting, make sure your VPS meets the following requirements:- Fresh VPS (no other control panels installed)
- OS:
- Ubuntu 20.04 / 22.04 (recommended)
- CentOS 7 / AlmaLinux 8
- Minimum 1 GB RAM (2 GB recommended)
- Root access (SSH)
- Stable internet connection
Step 1: Connect to Your VPS via SSH
Use an SSH client such as PuTTY or Terminal.ssh root@your_vps_ip
Enter your root password when prompted.
Step 2: Update Your System
Always update your system before installing any software.

apt update && apt upgrade -y
(For CentOS/AlmaLinux)

yum update -y
Step 3: Start CyberPanel Installation
Execute the provided command to initiate the automated installation script. This script will guide you through several decisions regarding the LiteSpeed version and additional add-ons you wish to install.

Step 4: Choose Installation Options
During installation, you will be asked several questions:- Install CyberPanel?
→ Press 1 (Install CyberPanel) - CyberPanel with OpenLiteSpeed or LiteSpeed Enterprise?
→ Press 1 (OpenLiteSpeed – Free) - Install Full Service (Recommended)?
→ Press Y - Remote MySQL?
→ Press N (unless you know what you’re doing) - Set Admin Password
→ Press Y to set your own password
Step 5: Access CyberPanel Dashboard
Once installation is complete, you’ll see login details.Open your browser and visit:
https://your_vps_ip:8090<br>
Login with:
- Username: admin
- Password: the password you set during installation
Step 6: Basic Post-Installation Setup
After logging in, it’s recommended to:- Change admin password (if needed)
- Set your server hostname
- Configure firewall and security settings
- Enable automatic backups
- Create your first website

- Make sure port 8090 is open in your firewall
